Fished the BFL on priest. The day started off good first fish was 3.5 on a spring craw CB around Hong Kong island. Partner boated 2 short fish there. We left there around 9 and went way back Fall Creek. I had 17 more fish in there on cb's, beavers, and bitsy bugs, but no more keepers. I drew a good partner, which is always a plus in these. He ended up with 2 keepers that ended up weighing around 6 lbs.

Moose do you fish Priest much? That is the lake I am on alot. What did you think about Fall Creek being so shallow up in there.A buddy of mine had a 7lb he got up in the Fall Creek area in seeing distance of the bridge.I get real nervous about going up in there with the water down like it is right now.

Just for your information.
I lived 5 yrs. in Franklin Tn. and fished Priest quite a bit for bass. I'm familiar with Spring Creek, Stewarts Creek, E. Fork, and West Fork and these are excellent areas for LM. Just be careful in Priest, lots of rocks, I tore up a lower unit and a trolling motor too.

We could see the bridge from where we went. If the water hadn't been down I'm sure we would have went to it. If the water comes up I may head back in there in a couple weeks. It looks great back in there, but the water is down enough that most of the stumps, and a lot of the rock piles are out of the water. Partner said he had 18-20 pounds in there Friday. He did have a 4.2 out of there on Sat. Watch Brian Carper on a crappie guide trip back in there all day.

Must have been on off day up there. I saw that under 18lbs. won and usually 20+ gets it this time of year. I went to MTSU and miss having that lake close by. Wonder if anyone ran upriver and flipped? Holler when you get ready to head to Old Hickory. I know a couple of spots that may be worth trying.

The majority of boats we saw were on steep banks along the channel. I think the cold front really hurt the shallow fish which is where most of the weight has been coming from. Of all the fish I caught Saturday, none of them were in over 5 ft. If the front hadn't moved through, I believe it would have been alot better.
