Count me in, the hole is dug might deep and will hold a bunch of forums by now, I hate to see what little is left of CFF pushed in and covered up.

Well, I hate that some are going to get their feeling hurt, some will hurt the feelings of others, but guys, I dare say this was the only forum FirstLight owned that didn't have a political forum on it. And it was purchased to make a profit at some point, and all the views, and pots will drive their profits, and ultimately provide us with more features.
Its a fact of life, that all of us have other interests besides fishing. This can STILL be the best fishing forum out there, this doesn't change anything.
I am an active member of the GON.com forum, and it is HUGE. 40k members, and you know what?? I don't go in the political forum, cause I don't know a whole lot of those folks. I choose to view this forum because I know most everybody on here, and I call allot of folks on here friends. Some disagree with my political belief's too! It will be a real shame if personal attacks are leveled at each other, and I for one hope it doesn't go there.

I don't know why we need it on CFF there are lots of other places to voice your national political opinions if it must stay Id say lets keep it a local political forum, local politics, TN, NC, AL, and GA .. there is enuff to moan and groan about locally without national politics being even mentioned.

There are many forums not under specialty forums - political/religous. What some may want to do is what a few on the forum used to do...send rude and obnoxious PM's cursing those who you do not agree with...

That is why it was time Sean. People would go to OTHER forum's, and yes other fishing forums to view and participate in political discussion. Participation, and content being viewed drives the forum, plain and simple. </p>

It will calm down in a few weeks after the three or four guys that are posting a million posts on this forum get out all their pent up frustration.

I will say it again - CFF has gone WAY downhill since DHaun sold it. DHaun if you’re reading anymore you had a great run and I understand business is business - more power to you, I’ve met you and you are a really stand up person.
After all of the retard crap on another thread recently I'm done with this useless junk. I hope all of you making fun of people with mental challenges NEVER have to experience a loved one with such a sad plight. And for those proud to be a "redneck" way to represent our sport and community - I bet you go far in life with that sort of attitude. Fishing is a family activity and this forum is moving far away from its family oriented roots.

It doesn't belong here! What if you went to a political forum and started posting commits about fishing? Wouldn't that be sort of stupid?

FIN, if you are not happy with the way the forum is now since DHaun is not in charge then LEAVE!! you dont have to be on here..... emoPlease the forum is being run with alot of sucess and I don't think that any of the people in charge now really appreciate the bad mouthing that they are getting

It is not a matter of " if you can take the heat, get out the kitchen" or don't enter the forum. It is relates to what this forum was created for. To discuss fishing and communicate in a respectful manner with fellow members. What has happened is that this Political and Religious thread has turned into a section where people can express there racist views. We are all grown men and women that make conscious decisions on what we believe in and who we associate with. Now to post Nazi Swastikas on President Obama on this forum is a direct representation of what you believe in. Regardless of where it came from you have to ask yourself who created it and for what purpose? We all know what the purpose of that pic was (racist hate) and a tool to recruite more racist people. Now what has happened is another avenue has opened for the spread of racism and hate. If you want to discuss and spread hate messages take it else where to other forums where you will more than welcomed. But I believe is has no place here. Kill the thread until it can be cleaned up!!!!!
