Pickwick, 1/20/07

Got out today on Pickwick by myself. Got started about 9:30 and had my first fish in the boat a little after 10...a football of a largemouth around 2 lbs. Things slowed down until around 12:30 when I pulled into a creek and caught 4 fish. Had another bite that I didn't hook and then I broke one off on a hookset. All fish caught on a watermelon red smallie beaver in probably 15-20 foot of water. Water temperature was around 48 degrees all day. I was greeted by misting rain/sleet when I got off the water. All in all a great day on the water. carl

Good report man! When we going to start practicing for CFF G'ville. Never been in Mud Creek, we need to put together a plan man.

70.5, not bad not bad. gonna miss the triton. i'll have to get back for a Tx or two this year sometime.
