Where you putting in at? How long you gonna be fishing for? I'll probably be on the lake saturday and/or sunday? I'll help you best I can, but I've really been struggling as of late on pickwick. carl

we will prob. put in at waterloo....if we do no good we will put in closer to wilson dam...mcfarland park....we are fishing 2 nites for sure....if they are biting we may sat. nite

Man, I wish I could help you, but I fish the lower end of the lake, here lately haven't even been getting above yellow creek. I've never night fished the lake either, typically just fish it early morning or late evening in the summer. If you decide to venture down the lake any and need some help, feel free to give me a call(I'll pm you my number). carl

Me and my dad may be out there this weekend, we don't have the boat though... We usually fish off the bank for bass, I've caught some nice LM out there off the bank.

I was wondering if the striper bite was good at the dam yet or not? We go to Pickwick 1 or 2 times in the summer, and if we go at the right time the turbines are all running and we catch tons of stripers, I love the fight that they put up! I've caught two smallmouth that were well over 4lbs fishing for the striper at the dam as well. Tons of fun!

Thanks

if you put in @mcfarland fish the rock rows of course in the main river channel, don,t forget to swing around in the back channel and fish both ends of the first island (stump city) if they are pulling water. both ends of buck island can be good @x too, also when you come out of mac turn right hit first bouy stay out 100 yds off bank and fish what we used to call the woopie doos hump drop hump drop hump drop. tip of jackson island good also. alot of places to fish used to make annual trip down every yr. in feb for the big girls best fish to date 6#5oz brownie. oh yeh dont't leave the water till way after daylight smallies will absolutely kill a top-water for about the first hour and a half
