OK...I think with all that good food, we should have a few submits or request for the recipes!

Hal, that Sweet Hushpuppy mix was a winner with my wife. Your gonna have to pass it to me.

Jmax..the beans were Killer!! Gonna have to pass that one along too.

Anyone else?

That sweet gooey mess that Mrs Hal Perry made was out-of-this world!! I bet he would post it... ;)

A+ for the slaw that Tyler Ware made too.

Doc's hushpuppies?

Wish I could have tried more stuff, but I got a little full on fish.. :(

2 lbs of ground deer meat.
7 lbs of pork and beans.
5 small green onions chopped.
1 medium yellow onion chopped.
1 medium bell pepper chopped.
Approx. 2 to 3 tablespoons of powdered garlic.
About 4 to 5 tablespoons of Creole seasoning.
1/2 cup of honey BBQ sauce.
1/4th cup of Texas pete hot sauce.

Brown deer meat in a skillet with onions and peppers chopped. Once brown and the onions are softened drain any grease that may have come from the meat. Add garlic and creole seasonings and mix well. Now add the pork and beans, the BBQ sauce and hot sauce, mix well again. Let it heat up and then simmer for about 15 minutes. The sauce will thicken and you are ready to chow down. emoHungry

Great beans and about as easy as it gets. emoThumbsup Jmax

You can adjust amounts for less of them just keep about the same ratio in the mix.

Hushpuppies

Get a box of Zatarans hushpuppie mix, mix as directed, add 1/2 cup of chopped onions, 1/2 can of chopped or minced jalapino peppers, stir in ice water, (amount is on box), mix thouroly, you want it stiff so that it can be formed in spoon sized balls, drop into 350 degree oil of your choice, cook untill golden brown.

I thought they were pretty good, they were all gone for some reason.
