Pier Distance

Do the boating regulations state a distance that must be maintained from a fishing pier? This assumes that no part of the pier can be used for boat docking.

I don't think there is a set distance that you have to be away from a pier. You cannot tie up to a pier. Fishing piers are private property but the lake belongs to TVA.

When you get around the private marinas you cannot pull into someone slip.
