Dixie Jig Works is the much-appreciated effort of RangerRob, an old-school CFF member from way back who's quality lures have been in demand on CFF for quite some time. Many CFF members have already had the pleasure of fishing with DJW lures and posted numerous raves. I am happy to see RR take things to the next level and appreciate him supporting CFF at the same time! I hope you get great exposure and a bunch of new orders RR!

On a side note: I have received several additional requests for advertising information recently that got me to thinking... If necessary, I plan to limit banners to something around 14-15 total on the site to be fair to existing sponsors and to help ensure each visitor has a good possibility of seeing the majority of banners with each visit to the site. I wanted to clarify this for existing sponsors, Thanks for supporting CFF! -David

Well....if we have to welcome him, I guess I will.

Hip hip hooray... I am the self proclaimed North Alabama spokesmen for DJW, and they are the only jigs and spinnerbaits I fish with. Fantasic product, from a semi fantastic dude!

Rob can't log on, so I emailed him and will help him out. There is not a website right now, but what I can do is send anyone who wishes an Info Sheet about Dixie Jig Works as well as some pictures of products i've ordered and use from DJW.

Send me an email: [email protected]

Thanks to DHaun for the props and for creating the CFF for us.

Thanks to Bprice and minner for helping me along today while I was at work (the one that actually pays the bills!).

Thanks also to Flippen*1 for once again coming thru for me on designing the banner ad. He's a CFF member and an awesome graphic design dude, so if you need any graphics work done, give him a yell.

No gang, I do not have a website and it's for several reasons. The first is that they are costly and I'd hate for the cost of a website to get added to the cost of the baits. Second, I like doing business face-to-face. I usually hand deliver 95% of my orders because it provides better feedback and I get to see my buds ... a huge bonus because it affords me the luxury of knowing who's throwing my stuff. Many of you have been to the house to place or pick up orders and that's the personnal interaction that I like because I'm welcoming you into my digs and allowing you to sit and basically design something you can't always get off of a store shelf. Another very big reason is because if I did have a website, I could only show so many baits and since I love building the bizarre, it would leave the impression to viewers of the site that what is pictured, is what is offered and that's NEVER the case. Ever seen a spinnerbait with a white, lime, and pink skirt with a copper tomahawk main blade, silver indy secondary blade, a black head with orange glitter, and chartreuse eyes? Me either ... yet. But if that's what you want and you feel like its a fish-catcher, then I'm your guy.

Folks, DJW is still a hobby. It's what I do instead of watching TV, reading, or god forbid ... clean the house! It's a creative escape and maybe a little bit of self-satisfaction because to date, the best reward is getting onto the CFF and seeing a picture or reading a report where one of you had a great day on the water with a creation that came from my workbench.

I welcome any and all feedback ... even rants. So drop me a line and tell me how I can better help you and make your bass fishing more enjoyable.

One more thing. I'd especially like to thank all of you who have really made this thing soar. I won't mention names because you know who you are, but the support you've shown is monumental in me stepping this up a bit. If you bump into one of the DJW River Pirates at the ramp, please say hello and ask to see some samples ... just don't ask to see the 'top secret' stuff!

Even though it is clear by everyone that has already told it, RR does make a great product and I would like to chime in on this one as well. He makes a great spinner bait and chatter bait. However the best one for me he makes is his buzz bait with the clacker. In both the Nick and the G that buzz has put me on some fine fish. It will work in the Chick however in that grass on both the other lakes that loud thing seems to really allow the bass to hone in on it. I highly would recommend having a couple. emoThumbsup Jmax
