I have two separate livewells with nothing in them but drain plugs and would like to plumb them both. What would be the easiest way to airate and circulate them both. Can I plumb them together or do I need to buy two of everything?

look at past threads that I posted just re-did the whole system from start to finish or pm me and can answer any questions you have, you can hook up both wells to one pump but I put two in mine and can use what i need.

One pump will do if you buy an oversized pump AND put a valve on each branch to each live well to balance the flows.

Without the valves one tank will take most of the flow at the expense of the other.

I make the hose at work so I'm good on that but can I buy the rest of what I need in Chatt or do I need to make a trip to Sevierville tomorrow to BPS to get the pump and valves? Also do I need a pump out or can I use a gravity overflow tube or will it just overflow in my boat.

You can get all you need here in Chattanooga, You don't want it to overflow into your boat, it needs to over flow outside of your boat, via a Thru hull and your over flow should be a min of 1 1/4 Id recommend a 1 1/2 over flow line size. You want one intake pump and one to recirculate the water in the live well to keep oxygen levels high, and only want to take in fresh water at timed intervals ie a live well timer to control the intake of fresh water if you have the room on your stern for 2 pumps, Id install one pump intake of fresh water for each live well, you can use one pump and a switch to have the water flow from one well or both wells, I like having two separate pumps so I can just flip switch for one or both pumps.

The best place to get your pluming and all needed hardware is flow-rite.com the have a livewell builders guide there to show you how to do it http://www.flow-rite.com/marine/buildersguide.html?open_menu=1&sub_menu=1
