Fished the 4th stop of the B.A.S.S. Weekend Series on Ft Loudon yesterday. Not a whole lot to say. I caught 2 keepers (3 fish limit) for 4.5 lbs and a 9th place finish. Yep, you read it correctly, it took 4 lbs 8 ozs to finish in 9th place...2 spots from getting a check. A 3 fish limit of 9 lbs won it on the co-angler side. A bit over 16 lbs (5 fish)took home the 1st place check on the boater side. It took 11 lbs (5 fish) to finish 10th. ICaught 15-20 fish on a swim jig and a shakeyhead but managed to put only2 in the livewell.

Pre fished with Strato-G and dlmarr Friday. We were on the water all day. We caught alot of fish, and we all caught limits, but they were very light limits. The fish we caught were all pencil thin. No belly on them whatsoever. A 15 inch largemouthbass on Chickamauga weighs in the 2 lb range. Most 15 inch fish on Ft Loudon would not go 1 1/2 lbs. Smallmouth are the same way. All the ones I caught were thin. This isn't a one time thing. Ft Loudon has been that way for years. Not only is it the worst fishery on the Tennessee River, it is the worst fishery by far. No lake comes close. Everyone should be thankful we live so close to Chickamauga, Nickajack, and Guntersville.

A side note....it took almost 18 lbs to win a tournament with a 3 fish limit yesterday on Chickamauga.
