The bass were stacked up in a very small area again today. I fished four areas today, a new point, a new shallow creek channel, a new drop and a deep hole. All were in WT creek. I fished from 11 until 3. Ended up with 16 bass, 5 keepers. Caught one fish at the point, in 4-5 feet of water, one suspended over deep water(the hole), and the rest on the drop. The fish were stacked there and when they quit biting I went back an hour later and caught another 5 in the same spot, about the 40 feet square. Most were caught on crankbaits, one that dives about 10 feet and one that dove 12-14 feet. I did catch one on a spinnerbait after they quit hitting the crankbaits. I also caught one on a bait that only dove about 5 feet. I did try plastics after they quit on the crankbaits with no takers. They really wanted a fast presentation today. The water in the creek was 77 to 78 degrees. The drop that held the fish was on a flat that was 7 feet deep that dropped to 12 to 13 feet. I only got rained on a little. I have a pic but won't get to it until later. Much more productive than last night.
