So i decided to go fishing today for the first time in awhile. I went to the bait shop (FISHTALES) at 2PM and bought about a dozen and half jumbo shiners. Then i riged my baitcaster with a live shiner rig. Just a weight at the bottom and a size 3/0 hook about 3ft below a big float. And I caught 5 bass. The biggest was probably 3 pounds and the smallest probably not even a pound! I would cast the bait out way away from the bank of the pond and let it sit for about 5 minutes if i didnt get a bite id cast eleswhere!
I had fun especially since it was the first time i went fishing this year!
ANd i also have a dozen shiners left and i plan to go tomarrow, if not, monday.
