Took the little man to signal mtn. for some pond fishing today. Got one big cat that about whooped his hind end. Got it in and it was about 12 lbs. Also got a dink of a bass. Infortunately the water is so far down in the pond due to lack of rain, they just weren't biting. Fun watching him try to reel in that cat thought. Sorry there is no pic.... so dumb blonde forgot the camera. :(

Carol pond fishing is where most of us probably cut our fishing teeth. I still love to do it from time to time. Would do it much more were it not for making payments on the boat. It is hard to go anywhere else when the boat is sitting in the yard.
I know that boy had fun catching that big cat and hopefully he is hooked on fishing. If you take a notion to take a little ride to do some more pond fishing,I have a 2 acre catfish pond that is full of all size catfish. Ya'll are welcome any time.

Pond fishing is what got me hooked. I moved into a house that has a couple of ponds behind it and started fishing them. I hooked into a 6lb LM and ended up with a boat withen a couple of weeks. Expensive little pondemoLaugh

FA... I know you are just pickin' at me. I couldnt believe I forgot the camera. emoDoh Would have been so nice to have had him holding up that "whoa baby" (as he called it) and gotten his pic. It was just fun watching him trying to reel it in. Thanks for the offer Cheez. May have to bring him down sometime. emoThumbsup
