POP UP CAMPER

Anybody ever changed the lift system on a Jayco pop up camper, is it costly and what is the difficulty to repair ?

I've never done it but I talked with the service man at N Gate one time about just that. He said it's a difficult job and costly if you pay someone to do it. It's a cable and pulley system and I would think it could be done by someone crafty ( which I'm not)
He told me around $1000 to do it, mostly labor.

Jayco, like most of the other manufactures, have a lifetime lift system warranty, BUT, this only applies to the original owner
