Re: Portable Welder/Generator

You might try taking it around to some of the big rental companies to see if they want to buy it. We're always looking for a good deal but that's a little too large of a generator for our customers which are mostly homeowners and light construction.

I appreciate that Fastwin. Actually the machine is a welder that happens to be a big generator as well. Rental companies might buy the welder but not the rest of the stuff. If I have to I will separate but for now it is just a package deal.

RE: Portable Welder/Generator

wow thats one heck of a deal cheez... i wish i had the extra right now id sure take it, i could get some good use out of it

Re: Portable Welder/Generator

I dont know chit about welding other than I know this is a steal on the package. Somebody is going to make good money with this!

Re: Portable Welder/Generator

The welder alone with no lead costs more than what I want for the whole package. I have made a lot of side money over the years with this rig not even trying. If a man worked it right and got the word out good he could make a good living with this.

Re: Portable Welder/Generator

i might have someone interested in it i will find out tomorrow when i go to work and will let you know

RE: Portable Welder/Generator

Cheez they told me that I couldn't weld anymore when I got my pacemaker. Then later on they told me that I could. Just not to ground myself and tqke a big shock. I said duh. You might ask them again and make sure. I ran into another guy that they told that to and later said that it was ok . I think they just want to take any stress out of your life. I don't know about you but with me it wasn't the welding that was causing the stress. emoSmile

RE: Portable Welder/Generator

I have the exact same welder. Never caused a lick of problems runs like a sewing machine. This is a great deal for someone!

Docs told me the danger was in getting burnt in the area of the pacemaker. Since it is barely under the skin if I sustained a burn there even if it was slight it could cause some real problems. I've been welding for 33 years so I know that burns are unavoidable if you weld much. Welding pays well but I've had enough anyway.
Thanks
