What's the story on the Possum Creek ramp? is it safe as far as break ins go? Is there a charge? Any holes or drop offs? Any info would be much appreciated.</p>

Thanks!

There is a charge of $5 a day or a $40 a year pass. ramp is a little steep and in winter you'll want to hug that right side or left side looking.

Been using it for 20 years. Never had any problems. We don't use it or Sale Creek in the winter due to drop at the end.

I have never had or heard of anythig being stolen there. I have been told that there is a piece or 2 of rebar steel that sticks up at the end of the ramp right directly in the middle. I have not seen it, but have been told that it got the tires on a pontoon boat trailer. There is a big drop off at the end and I have seen 2 trailers off of it and heard of one other. I have never had any problems, just don't back too far in.

Gonna wake this thread up also. Thanks for help with other ramps in winter.
So if I am standing on the ramp looking down at the water in need to hug the left side? Side away from the dock to avoid any drop off? Of course dont back to far in.
