I am terrible when it comes to guessing weights of fish. John has caught so many he could be blind-folded and just smell the fish and tell what it weighs. If he says over six then it was over six. I know him well and know he fishes for food now rather than money. I know he respects a beauty like this and allows it to swim another day. Hundreds of smaller spots have met Mr. Crisco at John's house. BTW, as it was already stated, he builds awesome rods. I have nine in my boat on tournament day and his name is on all of them.
