powerhead swap on OMC

anybody here with OMC knowledge, I was hoping to see a post from wrenchin2 to tag but did not see one

Is there any issue that you know of putting a closed deck power head 93/95 on an earlier 88/92 mid. I noticed looking at the two blocks side by side from the bottom that the water inlets are different. V6 225's

Hey Jim we have done that swap several time no problem just use powerhead gasket omc part # 333879 92-2000 carb v6s
