Guys,

I know I have not been around alot here lately, alot of personal things going on here in the Couch household. My wife and I have been having problems in our relationship for the past two months, to the point where the police were involved twice.

On top of that it seems that she was up to something for the past 2+ years and it finally reared its head when they escorted my wife to the "gray-bar motel" last Thursday night. I had no idea that this was happening but I should have seen the signs. The thing that bothers me the most is that we have a 5,3 year old and a 16 month old little girl that have not seen their mother since that time either.

What do you tell a child in this situation? "Your mother is in Jail thats why she is not at home." They have been used to her coming home late at night in conjunction with the relationship problems. At first it bothered me real bad to the point where I just didn't want to go on, but my kids kept me going. Then this happened and I decided that I am tired of worrying and tired of being lied to.

My oldest daughter has grown tired of her mother constantly yelling at her and doesn't miss that at all. The two younger ones are taking it harder especially the baby and it kills me. She screams every night for her mother and I try my best to calm her down. So as of now I am taking care of my girls as a single dad and could use some prayers. To the single parents out there that have done it for years I applaud you because I have been one for less than a week now and I see how hard it is.

hang in there tater. It can be rough, but you are the rock in those childrens lives. Be strong, and think positive....it will all turn around eventually....you have my prayers

Prayers sent from here Eric. Keep your focus on the Lord and those babies and He will work it out for you.

Bud, you got a message from me, and you do have my thoughts and prayers. emoGrouphug The good Lord will guide your foot and hand, and will lead you through this valley.

CT, I too have been right where you are right now but that was 31 years ago. I had 4 little ones to care for. You are right it is very hard but with The Lord's help you will come through this and be much better. We are praying for you and your little girls. It will get better my friend.

CT, not only am I praying for you and the kids, but I'm praying for your wife as well. It seems that she certainly needs a lot of prayer and for the Lord to finish in her life what he has started. Situations such as this seem and are ugly, but having them come to the light is the first step in the process of total healing and deliverance and that is what we all want to see in this case.

Can there be forgiveness in this? I'm sure that there is. Has Love failed? Never! Does it hurt? Of course, but remember this my friend, weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. We all need a wake-up call and perhaps this is the wake-up call that your family needed.

Hang in there, brother. This too shall pass. emoGeezer

Tater, sorry to hear of this. Our thoughts and prayers go out for the family. God is the answer. Try to keep your head up and be strong for those kids. I know it must be tough but those little ones are looking to dad for strength. I believe they will find it too. If there is anything I can do for you let me know. Above all use your head and don't give in or up. God can take care of anything that is dealt our way. Just keep the faith in him.

Stay strong brother. Pretty soon, you'll get the program down with the girls and it'll seem small some day soon. None of us know what we are made of until we are tested. Stay strong. We're all here for you.
