Prayers needed

Yesterday a boy from my son's ball team was hit by a car while riding a 4 wheeler. He died during the night. Please send prayers for him and his family. His name is Talon.

Talon was the cutest, most well mannered kid you had ever seen. I never saw him when he did not have a smile.

He was just at my house last weekend and I have only known him well for a month or so but i can tell you, the world is less of a place without him here.

I sure I will try to do something in the future to help the family as they do not have a lot of money.

Please pray for him.

The lady that hit him is the mother of my daughter's friend. I'm so sorry.

Talon's family and all parties involved will be in our prayers in the coming days for understanding, peace and rest. An innocent life taken is a difficult, difficult thing to understand.... makes me consider what an unfathomable sacrifice the Lord made when He willing let his innocent Son die for us not innocent stinkers.

Let me say thank you to all of you that have given prayers for Talon and family. It is a terrible time for anyone that knew this boy. A great kid, a great ball player and great friend to anyone he met. There are several things being done to help the family. I think Snowhill is going to try sponsor a donation drive and a trust fund for them.

I know you guys have had benefits here before for several occassions. I would love to try to get a benefit tournament together but i would need some serious help. i would not know where to start. i have thought about a donation (whatever you would like to give) entry fee and maybe try to get some gift cards for prizes. ANy other ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
