My wife is having cataract surgery on monday in one eye, if everything goes well she will go back in a week or so and have it done in the other eye. The doctor says this is a quick and easy surgery but i would like to have the good Lord looking out and helping also.

You bet Gary! I had one done years ago - simple, easy, painless, and effective. Prayers and well-wishes go out to you both.

Praying for her, Doc. I wonder what her reaction is when she gets a good look at you? emoPoke emoGeezer

Thanks to all the prayers and the good lord and her doctor, the operation seems to be a success, she is having minimal pain, sorta like a little burning she says, she also says the drops that are required every day makes her eye burn a bit, nothing serious. On another sorta funny part of her visit was seeing all the people who were going to have the same operation, each had a quarter size sticker over the eye to be operated on, on their forehead. I know this is just an xtra precaution to be sure the correct eye is operated on but it was rather funny seeing a bunch of patients in the waiting room each with this sticker on their forehead and over one eye. Thanks again to everyone for their help and prayers, we both will be indebted to all of you. It makesus feel likewe hada cheeringsection in our corner.

Glad to hear she is doing good doc! I bet that was a funny site to see all those people with stickers on their foreheads!
