Prayers Needed

Last night my wife and i got a call about 11 pm. A close relative of ours and her new husband where in a real bad car wreck next Shepard Hill on Hwy 58. Their names were Nikka Worley and John Moats. They got married on Wednesday of last week. Nika has 2 broken legs, broken wrist, and is bruised and beat up real bad. They are gonna do surgery this morning and put a rod in one leg and plates in the other. John had a broken heel, broken ankle, broken leg, several broken ribs, severe concussion, and is bruised and beat up. John is in ICU in the moment, but is stable. Nikka is in the moderate ICU and is stable. Please keep them and our family in your prayers during this time and the long road of recovery.

My family was stuck behind it for a while on 58 trying to get home, so we knew it must have been bad.
Do they know wat happened??

John and Nikka were heading south on Hwy 58 in there suburban when a Ford F150 extended cab crossed the middle line. John swerved to miss and the Ford swerved the same way. Neither had time to hit their brakes. We just got home from the hospital. Nikka's right Femur was snapped into and it had to have a steel rod inserted to hold in together, which will have to remain in for the rest of her life. Her left Femur was snapped just above the knee joint and came out the top of her leg. She has an exterior metal bracket until they are able to go in and surgically fix this one. Along with that her right knee cap was shattered, left wrist broken at the joint, and her left index finger is broken.
John's right Femur is broken in half as well. He also has several hairline cracks on his pelvis, a torn ACL and Lateral Ligament, and a shattered heel with possible nerve damage in the heel.

They are actually doing pretty good. John got to go home on Tuesday. Nikka was suppose to be coming home sometime today. They both seem to be feeling a little better. John had 2 surgeries so far and Nikka has had 3. They don't think they will have to have any more. At this point is just looks like lots of support and a ton of physical therapy. Thanks everyone for the prayers and the concern.
