Prayers requested

Guys I would like to request some prayers for my oldest son Will - 2nd Lt US Army. He is headed for first tour of duty in Afghanistan next Wednesday. Timing could not be worst because he will miss celebrating his one year anniversary with his wife. I got to see him last week. It was tough to say goodbye. I don't mind telling you I teared up quite a bit. The Army is putting his group in the teeth of the Taliaban near the Pakistan border. It will be tough because there will be no infrastructure there to support them. They are building a base of operations at 4000 feet. Nearest helicopter support is 45 minutes away. The more he shares about the mission the more I just shake my head at Army wisdom and this war??? Any way I request you keep Will in your prayers as this will be his first time in combat, his first time leading a platoon. We will be praying Psalm 91 for him. Thanks guys!

Just got an email from Will.
He is in Germany for an hour and then on to Kyrzgistan and then Afghanistan.
