Pre-fishing the frostbite Tx on 12/3.

I was not sure if I was going to go freeze my butt off this coming weekend or not but after flipper asked me and CCSM said he would freeze with me I thought I might as well. Not many signed up for the event this coming weekend so let's get some more on board.emoToast If I can freeze you all can freeze with me.

I went yesterday and did a lot better. I took some of the advice I got from the last trip and was able to boat some. Best one was about 3.5 lbs, a nice football of a LM. Boated only three keepers that would have gone about 7 lbs total. I had a couple more very close. I was starting to think I was not going to weigh any this weekend but after yesterday I think CCSM and I will at least have to put some water in the live well.emoBigsmile As usual I caught them on artificial and all were hooked in the mouth and the location was in the water. Any more than that and you will just have to show up at the Tx and I will share the rest.emoTongue Jmax

Bbass you got that straight. I just looked at the weather and it is going to be in the upper 20s at daybreak and warm up into the mid 50s by Tx end. Better break out the long johns and winter snowmobil suit.emoCool Jmax

Hahaha you guys have fun...I' ll be thinking about you all freezing while I am in Isla Marada (sp?) Florida. My wife and are leaving Friday for week in the keys. We are coming back on my B-day which is the 16th. I have got a guide to do some fishing and hope to have a pic of a big fish. I am just looking forward to some cold beers on the beach.

You guys be careful out there, this is no time to fall in the water. Hypothermia sux. Take a towel and a change of clothes just in case. I have a dry bag that I keep in one of my compartments with a change of clothes and a towel for just such an event. You can get the drybags at Wal mart
