The last two weeks I bet I have caught over 100 bass on spooks. Certain coves mid and down lake have been piled with bait and the bass have been taking advantage of it. Cruise slowly and just watch near points, drops and pockets. You will see splashed and boils. Stop chuck you spook as far as you can into them and hold on. The only catch is that you MUST be fast. They are moving/feeding fast and if you throw at a school 15sec. after they come up, more than likely they are gone. Give it a try and let me know how it goes. GOOD LUCK.

P.S. I like Excalibur spooks, they have a rattle that knocks back and forth really loud when you work it. That knocking drives the bass crazy.

That's also been working for me here on the Hiwassee.I like the super spooks best because you can throw them a mile and they give bigger fish something worth going after.

In addition, the bigger spooks are easier to "walk-the-dog" with at higher speeds than are the little ones. You can catch plenty of non-keepers on the Super Spook, but 4-5lbrs are rare on the Puppy ;) .
