Nope they have been strutting in Jan. this year. I have seen them strut in all months of the year.

I heard birds rattleing off all morning the last few days of duck season,must be struttin too? They look ready!

I've seen birds strut year round! The more males you have in a heard the more competition there is for food and breeding rights, therefore you will see more of the above. Looks like your gonna have one heckuva season. If you need anyone to call one in for ya just let me know!

It is definitely not to early to see the Toms displaying....right now these displays are more for establing who is the boss than to attract the ladies.
