Over the weekend presidential primary candidate Mike Huckabee (R) related a story of fixing fried squirrel, "a southern delicacy," in a popcorn popper in his dorm room. Huckabee is an avid hunter.
Of course the comment has gotten a lot of play in the press, and inspired NewsChannel 9's Political Blogger Dan Lehr, to research the history of relationships between past-Presidents, and squirrels.
