Even though I didn't get to go I'm proud as I can be of three of my firiends that brought home a lot of bone. Tucker who's growiing up fast wacked a 141 typical 8, Jamie his uncle wacked a 158 typical 8, and Steve wacked a deer of a lifetime thats pushed the tapes at 197 1/4 man ole man. All these are gross green scores but thats a lot of bone. All the deer were killed in Illinois. Steve and Tucker are the Son and Grandson of my best and late friend Jimmy and he is smiling down now!! Tucker and Jamie killed thiers Tuesday and Steve killed his at 330 yesterday afternoon.

Good Lord!!!! What a ten piont!!! All three are great deer but that ten is really something, you don't see many like that often. emoWorthy Jmax

I was just laughing about your title. If that is what you call a "Pretty good week." I would like to know what you consider a "great week".lol emoLaugh Jmax

Jmax, whats really impressive about Steve's Deer it was chasing a doe and Steve said he Knew it was a shooter but didn't know how big. He focused on the doe in a small window and when the buck came thru he took the shot. You know how hard it is to stop a buck chasing. He drilled it and it ran 20 yards, pretty impressive with a bow. It will probabally net in the mid to upper 180's when dried.

Good googly moogly!!!! I miss the days of hunting the Wabash. West Central IL gets all the attention but there are big bucks on the other side too! Thanks for sharing

I understand why it was just a pretty good week rather than a great week... He did NOT go on the trip.</p>

Talked to Steve today and said he he a guy score it when he got back home. The guy is an official scorer from Williamson Co. He told Steve it has a more than good chance cracking the top 10 bow kill of all time in North America. He has to wait 60 days and if it holds out it will net around 195. The guy said it didn't think it would loose but a couple of inches and it grossed at 197 2/5s. Needless to say he is excited! The top bow kill is 204 something and number 10 is 193 something.
