It was a beautiful morning on the river... a little foggy, just enough for a perfect sunrise. Just thought I'd share a few of the "scenic" pictures from this morning. The single boat is Clayton Cornell (CFF's "reliable") and his son, Addison. The "group" shot is Tom Rowland and his partner, Rich Tudor" from the TV Show "Saltwater Experience." They told me the youngster's name, but I don't remember. emoBang We watched the young man fight a bigtime battle with this fine smallmouth. As far as we could tell, he didn't need too much coaching from the grown-up experts.

rsimms, Thanks for the great pics. I know that T. Rowland is from Chattanooga but what's he doing up here. He's a guide in the keys. He was booked when I was down there once but he's a great flats guide from what I hear. Is he just up here on vacation seeing family? Just curious.

polo .... Tom has moved back to Chattanooga. He's not guiding anymore... at least not on a regular basis. He is concentrating on the TV Shows.... obviously travels a lot, but Chattanooga is now "home base." He's been spending a lot of time on the river when he's home... having to kind or "relearn" how to fish freshwater, but obviously it won't take him long.

Wow, I didn't know that. From what I've read and heard he was one of the best down there. Do you know if he's on the forum? Just curious, he must really know how to fish, that's for sure. We have an acquaintance/family friend in common. I've never met him. That must be his center console. He'll be a great one to learn from if we can get him to contribute some here. Thanks for the info.

Nice pics.

I'd bet he's the only person on the entire TN River that has a Yellowfin Bay Boat. emoEek

Hehehe, bet that tarpon tower makes him really stand out........

Come to think of it, maybe I should get a tarpon tower......I might be able to spot some TN tarpon then.emoLaugh

It is true. I have moved back to Chattanooga and I love it.
For those that do not know, I did grow up here and my parents still live here. I do travel alot to the Bass Pro events (next one that I will be at will be Atlanta in Sept) and to film the shows. We now have 5 shows in production which have taken me away from the daily guiding. (Saltwater Experience on VS, Saltwater Game on ESPN, Tailwalker on VS, Whitetail Experience on VS, Polaris Hunt Show on ESPN)
It is hard to produce 5 TV shows while guiding 300 days each year.

I am glad to be back in Chattanooga and really enjoy the fishing here as well. I will fish for any fish with any type of rod lure, line or bait and enjoy every minute of it. Time is the most precious comodity and I do not have enough like most people but I always want to go fishing. If you guys are catching some fish and want some company, let me know. I may be able to break away.

Keep up the great work on this forum! The information is excellent and you guys all seem extremely nice. This is what fishing should be about. See you on the water!

Hey Tom... I stand corrected. You're not a "lurker." emoWelcome

I love it when I'm wrong... of course I'm used to it. emoBigsmile
