This will probably be the most exciting report of my cff career. We fished a club tx on the chick today. I wanted to fish harrison bay since I am from Alabama and don't get up that way much I don't know the lake very well. I don't have a gps card for my hummingbird so it is pretty much useless on the northern lakes. So I said I wanted to fish in harrison bay so a friend of mine said follow me I am giong to wolftever and harrison bay is on the way. So I told him ok. But I am not sure that my javelin can keep up with his ranger. He said that is ok I will not go fast. As soon as it was safe light he gave his ranger the go command shortly there after I gave my javelin the go command. It was windy and cold as we left the ramp at the damn. We proceeded to go up river it seemed like we were some where around mock 1 as we cleared the last river marker coming out of that water way. I see the ranger break right, I am on the left side running about 60mph. Felt more like the speed of sound. Then I see the captain of the rangers left arm come up and he is pointing to the left. Then I see a big sand bar. I'm thinking we cannot go through there, at this point in time I see the ranger that belongs to HLS go from mock 1 to 0 in a blink of an eye. About that time my partner points ahead and to the left I see a brush pile, I give my javelin the stop command followed all the left hand turn the steering wheel has. We do a 360 and come to rest on a sand bar. Know what the Hell do we do? My partner is on the trolling motor I'm on the big motor we finally get mine off of the sand bar. Now Hl&S is dry docked on the same sand bar he throws us a rope. After an hour of pulling and tugging and sixty gallons of water combined with rocks and mud slung over in his boat from my four blade regenade. We finally drag him off the sand bar he thanked us and the day of fishing begun. We fished from then until 1:40 with having only caught one yellow bass. We finally found way our back to the ramp with fifteen minutes left to go and in 8fo with a kvd 1.5 square bill crank bait in blue gill color I put our only two keepers in the boat. Which weighed a grand total of 5.62lbs. Which was good enough for third place. We went home. And that is the end of the excitment on the chick.
