Female professional bass angler Sondra Rankin from Kentucky is coming to Chattanooga the weekend of July 7 and 8 to help host a bass fishing clinic at Choo Choo Fly & Tackle. The clinic will combine the intruction and information of conventional fishing and fly fishing for bass. the saturday session at the store will consist of many demostrations and lectures regarding rigging, fish behavior, equipment, bait/lure/fly selection, and general discussion. this session is open to the public from 10am to 4pm. there will be a dinner party that evening at foodworks at 5:30pm for $25 a plate for anyone interested.

the sunday session will consist of participants fishing with sondra rankin and mac mcgee (and other guides) on their boats in the tennessee river gorge at cummings lake (a.k.a. tennessee rivergardens) and getting private casting and fishing lessons from 6:30am til about 3 or 4pm... this is $100 per person.
