Prop help

[Nitro19]

I have a 94 model Johnson Fast Strike and it had a 25 which I traded for a 24 Pitch prop. Boat runs really god on top end but pretty sluggish out of hole. I tried a 22 but was way to small. Havent been able to try a 23 yet but wondered if any of you guys might have had evinrude or johnson 150 years ago. thanks for any info.

It will depend on what rpm's you can turn at WOT. If youcan check into the Boating and trailer q & a section we have some really great folks in there that may be able to help you out on this.My partnerused to run a 23 pitch on one and it worked well for him.</p>

You didn't say anything about the boat this is on, I had a 150 faststrike on an 18' stratos and now I have a 150 Johnson on the boat and prop it with a 4 blade 25 pitch. The 23 is not going to have enough pitch to keep the rev's down.

yea that would probably help.....I have a 19 nitro. I talked to several tonite and they run a 24 pitch.
