Prop Question

While doing a little maintinance today on my boat I happend to see what looks like the inside of my prop streaching where the slip hub joins the prop, ive been around boat for a long time and have had this joint fail but I dont ever remember one looking like this before... anyone ever see this , am i about to loose a hub, is the prop repairable, if not should a go with a SS prop with only a 50 hp merc. "is it worth it on a slow boat... emoScratch emoScratch emoScratch

I can't tell from the picture what is going on. Take it down to performance prop in soddy and they will fix you up. I wouldn't spend the money to put a stainless prop on a 50hp. It wouldn't hurt it but it probably wouldn't help either.

It has been spinning some on yea. Yep take it to a good prop shop and have it rehubed. You could put a SSon it but I wouldn't.
