I think I spun the three blade prop on my Merc 175 this past weekend. I have a four blade I have been wanting to try. Do you usually have to adjust the motor for this? I would call my boat manufacturer but Aries shut their doors in January.

BE SURE TO WATCH YOUR RPM'S AND MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ENGINE IS RUNNING WITHIN THE DESIRED RANGE. TO SMALL OF A PITCH AND YOU WILL TURN TOO MANY RPM'S TOO MUCH PITCH AND YOU WON'T TURN ENOUGH. RPM'S ARE THE KEY TO PERFORMACE. RPM RANGE SHOULD BE PRINTED ON THE NAME PLATE ON THE ENGINE NEAR THE POWER TRIM.
