I ve got an 82 125hp force and am in need of a prop.Im having no luck getting the boat to plane out and get up and go i dont know the pitch just fishing to see if yall cam tell me what I need to buy .THANKS

More info, please. Would help to know what boat you've got it on and the pitch of the prop you're currently running. The diameter and pitch numbers should be stamped on it. You may have to remove the prop to find the stamping. What is the max RPM you are able to turn? We need to compare that to the recommended RPM range for the motor. Hopefully, James knows as I don't have a clue. MOST important to determine that the engine is healthy from a mechanical standpoint before buying another prop, IMO.

Like jbh3 said, Need to know what it is and rpms.

Did it ever get on plane and run correct on the boat??? May have engine issues and a prop would only mask the issue.

I usually leave that to Billy and Tim at Performance Propeller in Soddy Daisy. I have in my own experience see some stuff with props that would seem to defy logic. On my own personal boat, I could could turn a 26 pitch chopper to 6,000 and turn a 21P Laser II to only 5500 RPM. The chopper lifted the boat and was like comparing trimming a boat to not trimming. When you trim a boat the speed and rpm go up. JME...

OH crap! Just dawned on me what boat this is.... This is the one that the guy told you I had worked on and I had never seen!!!!! The day you took it out did it come up on plane??? Did you ever get the ignition straightened out??? That engine should not have any problem getting that boat on plane. I think it may be elsewhere.

ve got it to plane out twice out of about 30 tries.ILL get those numbers tommorrow .I sure appreciate ya'lls willingness to help THANKS
