I would like to propose that after the fourth tournament, we waive the "pass rule" and enforce the 150 post limit per boat. This will help in several ways, includinghelping to prevent one boat of guys on a hot streak from dropping in and routing everyone, which in turn, starts the bickering amongst loyal forum participants. I also believe it will help to strengthen the overall fabric of the fellowship and comradarie on the forum.

With us starting up shortly, any interested parties have plenty of time to get to 150 posts. We have people with 20+ posts that do nothing but sign on to sell their junk. We have many guys who do nothing but mention one or two words in fishing reports and build up their posts. It is not that difficult to get to 150 posts in order to qualify.

Im cool either way but we will have nothing but garbage post from people that know the rule. How do we regulate that?

I am not sure you can regulate garbage posts. And I should not have proposed 4 tournaments, but possibly #5 or #6.

I'd rather..and this is just my opinion...leave it stand through out the trail the way it is. That way we dont get so many garbage threads and post. ALOT of the guys that fished it last year, are up on thier post count now.

I'd be for that. I don't know too much about what happened last year but I think if someone really wanted to fish one of these tournaments, they would have already fished one with us by the 6th tournament.

Now wait...They asked about it. Robbie talked like he was a memebr...there ya go.

I know your pokin fun Adam but that night and them showing up really bothered me when the facts were put down. Robbie knew better.

And that is one of the reasons for proposing this; so that these types of incidents are avoided in the future. The first time I heard grumblings was not from the tournament committee, but from others that had fished.

I propose we move to waive the free pass rule after 5 tournaments. That will give prospective anglers more than enough time for posts, and that will be past the halfway point of the trail.
