Proposed ramp change

Due to the flooding conditions on the Tennessee River below Nickajack Dam, I propose that the launch be moved to another ramp. I realize that things could change before our tournament but I don't want to take that chance. There is a bunch of rip-rap that's just below the water and I don't want to have someone tear up their boat. I'd feel awful. Comer Bridge ramp is too small so that leaves us Jackson County Park. I've already spoken to Bbass, Dropshot, and XLDVee, and they're fine with the move. I hate to see Churly and some of the others say "I told you so" but that's part of being Tournament Directors. I need to hear from the rest of you this evening. I will make the call around 8 0'clock and post it. Thanks for your input and help guys.

Move it to city ramp in Scottsboro...it'll be a much better tx.

Works for me. Blast off may be a little of a headache with other txs but weigh in should be fine since were doing it earlier this year. I'll just have to leave the house a little earlier.... unless we can get First Light to book us a few hotel rooms in Scottsboro... emoTongue

Jerry, I noticed you already changed the launch site to JCP which is cool...the city ramp is real close to there but I would have to confirm exact directions with some of the locals. This might serve as a relief to some of the traffic at JCP.
