thanks skeeter,im running the same motor as yours, and have a 4 blade 25 pitch, thinking about trying a 3 blade.the only thing i worry about is chim walking, its pretty bad now and heard it would be worst with a 3 blade.
You can take your rig to Performance Propeller up in Soddy and they can tell you the best setup as far as your jack plate setting and prop to get the best performance and handling out of your boat.
When I bought my boat the prop had too much pitch. It was a 26 and now I have a 24 raker. I gained 6mph on top end and I have a better hole shot. I would still like to try a 22 or 23 if anybody has one. I'm only turning around 4900-5100 WOT with the 24. I have a 26 if anyone wants to try it.
They will look at your boat and give you an idea where to start and it will be up to you to set er up. All they need to know is what she is doing as far as what you like and dont like. Tim at Performance Propeller is a great guy and will help you any way he can.
Why don't you just go to www.bassboatcentral.com, click BBC boards and then go to the Blazer board. Lots of information there. Somebody will have one similar to yours. You probably have a decent prop but your motor may be too low. That would cause it to chine. Most boats have some "walk" when they are performing well. Unless they are just too heavy to perform.
