Wanted to shair with you guys the second of a matched set of Cat rods I just finished, some of you guys saw the first one at wheeler in the fall,,,
The rod is a blend of graphite and e-glass which is the best of both worlds strong and light,, the blank is 7' only weighs little under 9. oz, it has a line raiting of 15-30lb's which means there is lots of back bone with a light tip for feeling light bites and fighting big fish...The guides are hardloy "hi-grade aluminum oxide for braid" bouble brace boat guides, with a glow in the dark tip, has a high quality all aluminum perfection reel seat which has been flipped so you are not holding the treads when you are fishing, and a flocked "the dimond pattern" split grip..
The handle is not as long as the pic looks about 17" to the center of the reel..
The reel is a okuma pro classic, "which im not real impressed with"
These are the rods I caught the 50lber on this week and they handles all sizes of fish great...,,
These are some awsome cat rods...
