pull rope problems!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I broke the pull rope on my 20 hp mercury.....so I took it apart, trying to fix it and I can't get it back together. Does anyone know anything about this? emoBang

Post what you have. Also PM me your email. I have several manuals. I can email some others I have to burn to a disk to share. One I have to email is on about a 89 up. I have the other.

it didn't bite me, but it did scare me a time or two. I've got a 20 hp mercury thunderbolt 200

Check your email. Maybe that part of the manual will help you. Sounds like it is a older engine though with the mention of thunderbolt........Later.
