Thanks guys for all your assistance. I have concluded in order to install the steering cables; I must remove the engine from the boat. I need your assistance in how to rig the engine. I can not find an eyebolt hole; so, what do I need to do to pull the engine. Do I need to remove the flywheel cover? I have the come a long and cables but I don't know where to rig to the engine. emoBang

<div align="left">I have never pulled a yammie. It should have a triangular pattern on the flywheel similar to OMC and some of the late model mercurys. So yes, pull the cover and you should see bolt holes.</div>

The engine on my 2001 SX190 skeeter must be removed to install the steering cables. The Yamaha HPDI 150 has three lifting points mounted on the engine. An engine puller will pick the engine and allow the cables to be installed. A hard lesson learned. I hope this helps someone else. emoBang
