Pup (Don) came to town to visit some family so I took him to the Riverpark in search of some smallies. Don is a really nice guy and a good fisherman to boot. After a little mis-comunication(sp?) on where to meet we finally got to fishing. Saw MB at the ramp and had to shoot the breeze with him for a bit. Fished the rip-rap, no smallmouths. But were did catch abuncha spots...go figureemoRolleyes Biggest fish of the day was about a 4lb channel cat I hooked on a bone colored Bandit. Best bass I caught on a big ol' jig with a Sweet Beaver trailer(2lbs 4oz,see below). Also had a few bream and redeyes thrown in the mix. Caught fish on Hair, Finesse, and Big Jigs. Bone and craw colored crankbaits, and tubes.

Pup, had a blast! Next time we will take a road trip to the Little Pigeon.

MB, did you stay at the dam all day??? And we didn't catch a LM or SM shorter than 12".

*EDIT* BTW, the bass you see below was the first bass on the new St. Croix my wife got me for our anniversary yesterday! *EDIT*

Clint, nice present, nice smile, nice fish, nice report.... what more can I say????
Oh, another thing... nice of you to take him fishing with you... FA
HAPPY ANNIVERARY misses Clint....

Nice healthy fish, beat our largest by 2 oz. You buzzed by me about 1:00. I was on the opposite side of the river from you. You must have sore-mouthed every fish on your favorite bank. I thought I would be smart and follow you with a Bandit, since I figured you would use a jig. What a waste of time. You "Hoovered" that bank.

Do you remember how many bass total you caught and how many were spots???? See my report. That's the kind of data I need for the Oct. meeting.

Clint,

Just got back from vacation on Monday. Had a great time fishing with you. If you ever decide to travel north to Indianapolis, then perhaps we can give it a try for some of these:

They're not quite 10.5 pounds ;) , but do pretty well nonetheless... Bring a good winter coat and we'll Float-N-Fly it! I'll PM you my telephone and address info. Again, I had a really good time.

DHaun, you have a really great site here.
