Qualify for the Bassmaster Classic through CBA!

We have accepted an invitation from BASS making the CBA a qualifying trail for the Team Championship event for 2014. This was all made possible by CBA's new partnership with Triton Boats. Triton Boats will be the trail sponsor for the 2014 season.

What does this mean? If you fish the CBA you have a shot to be eligible to fish in the Bassmaster Classic... That's right the Super Bowl of Bass Fishing.

So how does it work?

Assuming we have 100 teams purchase processing cards then 2 teams from the CBA will qualify for the Team Championship (1 team per every 50 teams that purchase processing cards). The two teams that would qualify would be the Points Champion at the end of the season and the Classic Champion. If we have 150 teams purchase processing cards then 3 teams from the CBA will qualify to fish the Team Championship event.

The existing CBA rules will apply and you and your partner must have the same number of points at the end of the season to qualify if you are the points champion.
There is a $10 fee that will be added to each processing card when purchased, but includes Team Championship membership and a 1 year subscription to BASS Times.

what if we are already getting Bass Times via the Federation? Do we still have to pay the $10 fee? I'm assuming the full $10 is going to BASS.

It is just an added perk, the entire $10 goes to B.A.S.S.

Guys, thats freakin huge! Way to go Shane! Its good to see the '14 officers putting what looks to be a heck of a season together. I mean a working man has the chance to qualify for the Biggest tournament in fishing, that huge! Good job! That would be a dream come true for anyone who bass fishes

I am very excited about this upcoming season... I have a lot more respect and gratitude for the Presidents that have come before me to get this trail to where it is... I am just ready to go FISHING!

Thanks Shane for getting this opportunity for us. What other way can a normal working man have a chance for the Classic. This is HUGE guys. Everyone who wants to fish a tourney trail would be crazy not to fish this

Great job to all the CBA officers! As for any takers on who the guys that get a shot at it......that is a long list. There are several great teams in this area that are consistant all year long! Good luck to everyone, it would be a cool deal to see one of our local guys make it to the Classic through this opportunity! emoThumbsup
