To anyone interested there will be a bass tx held on march 22 at queen city lake behind lafayette high school. Entry fee is 20 per person and a 10 dollar yearly membership fee. Be there 30 minutes before daylight and i think it lasts til 3. There will be 1 tournament each month and a classic in oct. You only have to fish 2 tx to compete in the classic. Fish only have to be 12" to keep. I talked to a guy today who told me that last month it only took 2lbs to win but he said he has seen it take as much as 34lbs!! Thats a huge bag for a five fish limit! Come join the fun but remember this is a trolling motor lake only.

Don't forget to charge your batteries!!! Or take a couple extra with you. Believe me, it is not fun to paddle across that lake back to the ramp against the wind!!! emoBang

I honestly dont know why they hold them on sundays. I guess its just so they dont have to schedule them around other tournaments since most are held on saturdays.

Team weights, but you can fish solo. I have seen some hawgs come from that lake if you know where they are. I have fished the lake several times ( always in the worst conditions) and have never done really good, but I know they are there.

I am like you. I have fished the lake many times, but have never done very well. There are fish in the lake that will go 10+lbs. I know a guy that fishes there and Guntersville religiously. He has placed I don't know how many brush piles in it and pulls bass from other lakes. The state should take over the lake, drain it, put some structure in it, and re-stack it. Does anyone know how many they have had this year already?
