Question about Bass and water levels at Parksville

Do y'all think the bass react to the water levels at all? I ask this because all through last year at Parksville, whenever the water would come up to full pool, the fishing would be CATCHING... 20+ spats in just a couple of hours fishing shallower w/ white trick worms. But when the water would come down a foot or more, the fishing would slow.

When the water is coming up, fish will run into the shallows. When the water is lowering they will move to deeper water.
