QUESTION ABOUT PROPS

How easy should a prop nut be able to take off. I just pulled my prop off the boat and I was able loosen the nut by hand is that normal or should you have to use a wrench to get that nut off.

they don't have to be real tight, snug it with wrench or as tight as you can get it with your hand baring no end play with your prop, put the carter pin in and go, the problem comes with not putting the nut and pin in, the prop won't stay on long, believe me i know. emoBang emoBawl
