After many years of wanting to learn to play I picked up a old solid body guitar Yamaha rgz-321p 1992 made in taiwan. H/S/H pickup configuration. Strat Style Body. Alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. licensed Floyd rose. Yamaha pickups. Good buy for $210 but does anybody know a good guitar tech that can update the yamaha pickups and get this thing singing? Just don't know enough to start cutting wires and soldering.

942-4466. Guitar Solutions in Jasper, TN. I got them to set up 2 guitars for me and they are great!!! While I was there I saw old newspaper clips where they had worked on Chet Atkin's guitar and other country stars. I think the guy got tired of the Nashville Scene and wanted to move out to the country. They were working on building their own line of guitars at the time. It's been about 10-12 years ago, but the work was relatively cheap and very good.
