Question on East Ridge Launch?

I started walking again at Camp Jordon, banked fished for bass there a ton about ten years ago, and I saw they put in a canoe and kayak put-in/launch. Anyone have an idea where the next take out would be? Thinking about borrowing a canoe and taking a look and am on the verge of buying a fishing kayak in the future.

Be careful with West Chickamauga Creek. My son and I put in near Ringgold City Park with a goal of making Camp Jordan. Unless the water is at flood stage, there is risk of getting trapped by sewer pipes which are above the water line.

Ifished the pond and some of the creek this year at Camp Jordan. To me my biggest problem was the white trash locals. Begging for money, fishing on top of me when I was there first, and worrying about my Jeep getting messed with.
Just not worth it to me.

It seems that the Put-in at Camp Jordan would be a Good starting point for an all day float trip to the River Park at the Mouth of South Chickamauga for Pick-up. I may just do that one.. The creek near the Airport, Shallowford Rd and 58 Hwy is somewhat adventurous.</p>

Further up the creek is an excellent float starting near the Old Mill in Chickamauga. My Family owned a portion of the land where the Battlefield Golf Course is now located. I explored all that creek from Reed's Bridge upstream to Alexander's Bridge and beyond the Farms and Old Civil War Fords. Through the Park and Golf Course is a Fine area. However, I don't have a current GA Fishing License. Starting in GA could be a Problem for Me.</p>

Camp Jordan is a weird place at times. I talked to a guy one day and he paddles upstream and just floats back to camp jordnHow long of a trip is it between Gordon mills and ocharleys

I grew up in east ridge. Sad to say but becareful. Despite their efforts, the urban folk have moved in.

I know I guy who lives on the property just upstream of Lightfoot Mill Rd. He said it's about impossible to float that section without portaging several times. He claims there are smallmouth there, but I don't know if I believe him hahaha.
