wrechin2 - 5/5/2009 12:15 AM That is a tough question. It would be more of a personal opinion instead of fact. ALOT of people who run high performance outboards run Alisyn oil, clotzs, pensoil. Do you know if it is a a Nikasil block or has been steel sleeved? Some engine builders don't suggest a full synthetic in a steel sleeve engine. What RPM range are you planning on turning it? Is it Carb of EFI. Recreational is 7,000 and produces around 245 propshaft Hp if EFI and at 8.000 race it produces around 275 propshaft HP and is ALOT shorter lived. So alot depends on how you intend to use it for what you want for it. just my thoughts....
