For those that put in for the WMA's Quota Hunts you can go online and see if you got a hunt or not . My crew got the last two shotgun either-sex hunts at AEDC .

I have a few new pics, I'll try to post, but I have noticed less traffic lately. I think they are hanging closer to water sources and there is not a significant one real close to "my trail". I thought about putting a water trough up there???

Water trough??? I doubt you will need one of those in a few more weeks when things cool down. Besides that's like cheating.

Because I'm sure the reason for the water is the "lure" of it .. not the humanity of quenching the thirst of deer in 103 degree heat in the woods.

Keep that up and I'm taking up the side of Big Boy again this year!!!! hahahaha

my party got the 1st prentice cooper bow hunt, and the 1st shotgun hunt in Dec. at AEDC

hey coondog, you ever been on the pcooper 1st bowhunt? I got it a couple years ago and it was a nightmare with all the people there!

We havn't been drawed here in Ga yet. I signed up for Ossabaw Island and a state park hunt.

Yeah I forgot last year to put in for a hog hunt on Ossabaw Island. I got drawed the year before and had a great time.

Our group got a bowhunt at Oak Ridge Dec 1. Looking forward to this one.

hoggerhead, yea we got it last year, i just got up there early and parked at the gate, slep for a little. and it is a nightmare we are discussing hunting the side of the mountian so we dont have to deal with that crazyness on top.

i would definitly hunt the sides cuz you know after the first day of hunting the deer will be pushed off the top of the mountain.

It's been a good year for my draw hunts . Besides the two AEDC hunts I also got Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge
deer hunt in Nov.

We're on the Fall Creek Falls Bowhunt... I haven't been on that hunt before, but friends have. They say they always see a TON of deer.

Our group got the VAAP Nov. 10-11 archery hunt. This is a great hunt, but I really wanted to get one of those AEDC shotgun hunts.

I recieved the Oct hunt on Hiwassee Refuge and the AEDC hunt Dec 1 - 2</p>

My son Sharkbait recieved the Sept. Youth shotgun hunt on Hiwassee Refuge and the youth hunt in Oct at Catoosa.</p>

Good hunts.  Now I TWRA can keep the non hunting adults off Hiwassee Island that walk around shooting into the air it may be a better time this year for my son.</p>



I saw two adult men without a kid shooting in the fields to intentionally run the deer from the Island.  Most of the deer we saw were running wide open to get off the island.  This year I will confront them and have TWRA on the way.  I suspect that we had a <font size="1">PETA </font><font size="3">encounter to corrupt the hunt.</font></p>
