Rabbit hunting

Anybody else one here rabbit hunt ? we all went saturday morning a bunch of good races just too many brush piles ended up taking 1 rabbit emoBang

My buddy has a couple of beagles and we go a few times after deer season closes. One of our spots is the same way, big cut-over, thick with pines and brush. Plenty of rabbits but the only way to shoot them is if they hit the road that's cut through it. Many just keep circling in the thicket and wear the dogs out. We did kill two last trip out of several chases.

I used to be a very avid rabbit chaser back in KY.I really havnt been in a few years but love to when I get a chance.I got a dog a few weeks ago from a cff member.He should be going on 6 months soon, and was wondering if anybody with a couple dogs would mind letting me toss mine in sometime. emoRolleyes

I go some. I dont have any dogs to hunt with so I always wind up cut, scratched and full of briars. Its fun though.
